Vivo Xplay7 to be first smartphone to launch with a whopping 10GB of RAM

first_imgVivo is certainly not waiting on its competition when it comes to being the “first” in introducing new features and technology in smartphones. After recently unveiling the world’s first phone with an under display fingerprint sensor, the X20 Plus UD, Vivo is now set to launch the world’s first phone to sport a mammoth 10GB of RAM. The Xplay7 will not only come with massive memory, but is also expected to sport a 4K display and an in-display fingerprint sensor, among other things.The Vivo Xplay7 is set to go big when it is announced in Spring. So far, we’ve seen smartphones with memory as high as 8GB. And if you thought that was an overkill, Vivo is planning to take things up a notch by introducing 10 gigs of RAM in the Xplay7. As far as internal storage is concerned, the smartphone will likely be offered in two options – 256GB and 512GB. Like most other high-end smartphones this year, the Xplay7 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset. Notably, this will be Vivo’s first phone since the Xplay6 to carry Qualcomm’s processor.As per past reports, the upcoming smartphone will sport a bezel-less design with an impressive 92.9 screen-to-body ratio. The handset is also expected to sport a fingerprint sensor under the display courtesy Synaptics, which provided the sensors for the X20 Plus UD as well. To recall, the Xplay6 came with a dual curved Quad HD(1440×2560) display and was powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor with 6GB of RAM.
